Our Story & Founder

Why We Built a Physiotherapy Clinic in Sarita Vihar

Symphysio was founded on a simple belief: movement is freedom. Too many patients we met had been handed generic exercise sheets or told to "just rest," without anyone taking the time to find out why their pain kept coming back. We built a physiotherapy clinic in Sarita Vihar around the opposite idea — that lasting recovery starts with identifying the root cause, not just managing the symptom in front of you.

  1. Barral InstituteJune 26–29, 2025 · New Delhi, India

    Visceral Manipulation I (Abdomen)

Assessment and manual treatment techniques for the abdominal organs — liver, stomach, gallbladder, duodenum, colon, and small intestine — and their influence on musculoskeletal pain patterns. This entry-level Barral Institute course covers general and local listening, evaluation of organ mobility and motility, and direct and indirect treatment techniques, giving Dr. Rahul an additional lens for patients whose back or abdominal pain hasn't responded to conventional treatment alone.

  2. Barral InstituteOctober 30 – November 2, 2025 · Mumbai, India

    Visceral Manipulation II

Builds on Visceral Manipulation I with more advanced assessment and treatment techniques across the abdominal and pelvic viscera — deepening his skill as a visceral manipulation therapy provider. The course adds a systemic listening approach across the whole body, helping refine which structures are actually driving a patient's symptoms before hands-on treatment begins.

  3. Barral InstituteJune 4–7, 2026

    Visceral Manipulation IV (The Thorax)

Extends visceral manipulation principles to the thoracic cavity — lungs, heart, and mediastinum — and their relationship to neck, shoulder, and upper-back mechanics. Understanding thoracic and rib-cage mobility is particularly useful when treating patients whose neck or shoulder pain persists despite normal-looking joint mechanics, since restricted breathing patterns can quietly drive compensation further up the chain.

  4. Barral InstituteApril 21–23, 2026 · New Delhi, India

    Listening Techniques I

A refined, whole-body assessment method used to identify where restriction in the body is originating from, guiding more precise manual therapy treatment decisions. Rather than treating wherever the pain is reported, this technique helps trace symptoms back to the actual restricted structure — which may sit some distance from where the patient feels discomfort.

  5. Stecco Institute (Italy)January 27, 2026 · Bangalore, India

    Fascial Manipulation® Level I

Explores the role of fascia in human movement and provides a structured framework for assessing and managing selected movement dysfunctions through fascial manipulation therapy. Developed by Italian researcher Luigi Stecco, the method maps fascial points that commonly influence movement in a specific segment, offering another tool for patients whose stiffness or restricted range doesn't fully resolve with joint-focused treatment alone.

  6. Upledger InstituteAugust 20–23, 2026 · Goa, India

    CranioSacral Therapy Level I

Introduces gentle craniosacral therapy techniques that may be integrated into patient care when clinically appropriate, alongside a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and treatment plan. Developed by the Upledger Institute, craniosacral therapy uses light-touch palpation to assess subtle rhythms in the craniosacral system, and is typically used as a gentle adjunct alongside — never as a replacement for — a full musculoskeletal evaluation.
